Last week, the deaf children from Warren were invited to watch a screening of ‘The Railway Children Return’. Despite a few hiccups earlier that morning due to traffic, the children had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed the film.

After our Autumn walk to the Chafford Gorge, the pupils taught in the resource base expressed an interest in learning about geese. Last week we learnt lots of facts about geese and we are now working on making a fact file. We drew and labelled a goose and created a mind map to organise our facts.

In the Resource Base we have been learning about different species of frogs. Our favourites were the Blue Poison Dart frog, the Red eyed Tree Frog and the Tomato frog. Then we used our imagination to make up a new species of frog. We wrote a non-chronological report and used this information to create leaflets. We’re all very proud of our hard work!
