A huge well done to all the children who took part in the Thurrock Performance Poetry competition heats on Thursday 12th March, after school, competing with other schools across the borough. We are incredibly proud of everyone who participated; they were a real credit to Warren Primary School.
Warren Primary was full of Easter cheer this week as the PTFA visited school to run a fantastic Easter Egg Slide for all pupils. Each class took part in the fun challenge, with one lucky winner chosen from every group.
This year, Red Nose Day has an extra burst of creativity thanks to the brilliant inspiration of Mr Doodle and his famous Doodlethon wish happened on 4th March 2026 to create our wonderful mural. His playful, energetic style has encouraged our children to pick up their pens, let their imaginations run wild, and design the most unique red noses our school has ever seen.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone involved in making Sign Language Week such a memorable and inspiring success. Our deaf pupils and staff were absolutely fantastic, and the week was filled with rich opportunities for pupils, staff, and parents to use and celebrate their BSL skills.
This year’s Science Week theme, “Curiosity: What’s Your Question?”, encouraged pupils to become true investigators.

Just before the half-term holiday, our fantastic Year 6 pupils rolled up their sleeves and stepped into the kitchen as part of their Great British Dishes Design and Technology topic. Their challenge? To design and make their very own delicious fruit crumbles!
Our EYFS children enjoyed a wonderful Dance Days visit just before half-term as we celebrated Chinese New Year together. The workshop brought the festival to life through movement, music, and storytelling, giving the children a fun and memorable way to explore another culture.
Yesterday, our Year 6 pupils braved the rain for an exciting and memorable trip to the historic Tower of London. Despite the wet weather, spirits stayed high as the children explored one of Britain’s most iconic landmarks and brought their history learning to life.
Warren Primary School was buzzing with excitement as pupils celebrated Number Day in style, donning creative outfits and diving into a full day of maths-themed fun—all in support of the NSPCC.
