Our deaf pupils and staff  thoroughly enjoyed a visit to Pizza Express this morning and were excited to be in Lakeside before the stores had even opened. They had the opportunity to make their own Margherita pizzas and observe the different ingredients that can be used for bases, sauces, and toppings.

Miss Gee, a Pizza Express employee, quizzed pupils to see if they could recognise each fruit or vegetable.  They were surprised by just how many ingredients are involved in each making a delicious pizza ! It was a fun and educational morning, walking to Lakeside and learning something new. Hopefully they shared their yummy , cheesy pizza with their loved ones at home!
