Despite only 3/ 7 schools able to attend the swimming competition due to poor weather conditions, our pupils embraced the opportunity with enthusiasm, using each race to improve their speed, build confidence and demonstrate excellent teamwork.

Although the event was not being scored competitively, we certainly knew who was touching the wall first in many of the races! As the only primary school participating on the day, our pupils represented Warren Primary brilliantly, showing determination, skill and sportsmanship throughout. Their performance spoke volumes about their commitment to swimming and the progress they have made this year.  To make an already memorable day even more special, the children had the opportunity to meet Adam Peaty, one of Great Britain's most successful swimmers and an Olympic, World and European champion renowned for his dominance in breaststroke events.

Overall, it was a fantastic and fun-filled experience. Every pupil returned home with a medal, certificate, souvenir and swimming cap – wonderful reminders of a brilliant day and the perfect way to kick-start the summer holidays. Well done, Team Warren!
