Over the past few weeks, our pupils have been busy planning, drafting and editing their own original stories. From magical adventures and mysterious discoveries to hilarious tales and action-packed journeys, the creativity and imagination on display has been truly amazing.

Taking part in BBC 500 Words has given children the opportunity to develop their writing skills, share their ideas and experience the excitement of being a real author. We have been impressed by the effort, determination and enthusiasm shown by everyone who submitted an entry.

To celebrate their hard work, we are delighted to showcase a selection of our children's stories below. Each one demonstrates fantastic creativity, originality and storytelling, and we hope you enjoy reading them as much as we have.
