Despite the heat, the children took part with great energy and enthusiasm. Events included classic favourites like the egg and spoon race, sack race and beanbag toss. There was lots of cheering and laughter as pupils did their best to balance eggs, hop in sacks, and work together in their house groups.

At the end of the day, everyone was hot and tired but happy. Ice poles donated by the PTFA were handed out as a cool treat, and many children said it was one of the best Sports Days yet.
