Showing racism the red card

On the final day of this first term, we raised awareness of the  Show Racism the Red Card campaign as the need for robust anti-racism education is more crucial than ever by flooding the school with RED.

Our pupils and staff watched a video in Assembly describing the history of the campaign and how we can change hearts , change minds , change lives in our corner of the world in Thurrock.  One of our school values , RESPECT , permeates the life of our school, with staff, pupils, governors and parents working and learning together, sharing a common aim for all our children to be the best that they can be in our journey of building tomorrow today. The school was a buzz of excitement and enthusiasm as pupils played games , built projects, designed posters and had circle time discussions to show our understanding of the campaign.
