Year 3 Stone Age Day

Our Year 3 Stone Age experience was full of excitement and discovery!
Over two days, we became budding archaeologists alongside Skillet and Frisk, carefully digging for artefacts and investigating how they were used in the past. We even wrote letters to Dr Angela, inviting her to see our findings and hoping to help Skillet and Frisk secure jobs in history.

When they returned, we sang an archaeology song, created captions for our artefacts, and impressed Dr Angela with our knowledge. Dressed as cave people, we performed persuasive adverts for Stone Age tools, showing off our creativity and language skills. To finish, we stepped into the role of hunters by practicing archery. The highlight came when Skillet and Frisk were awarded the role of Head of Youth Training in History—proof of how inspiring our learning had been!
