Year 6 Get Baking with Great British Dishes!

Just before the half-term holiday, our fantastic Year 6 pupils rolled up their sleeves and stepped into the kitchen as part of their Great British Dishes Design and Technology topic. Their challenge? To design and make their very own delicious fruit crumbles!
Working brilliantly in teams, the children demonstrated excellent collaboration, communication and creativity throughout the process. From carefully preparing the fruit to mixing the perfect crumble topping, they showed great care and enthusiasm at every stage.
Not only did they develop important cooking skills and learn more about traditional British dishes, but they also supported one another wonderfully and took real pride in their work.
The best part? Enjoying the finished product together! The fruit crumbles were a huge success — a true testament to their teamwork and effort. Well done, Year 6!
