Red Nose Day: Inspired by Mr Doodle to Get Creative, Get Silly, and Give Back

This year, Red Nose Day has an extra burst of creativity thanks to the brilliant inspiration of Mr Doodle and his famous Doodlethon wish happened on 4th March 2026 to create our wonderful mural. His playful, energetic style has encouraged our children to pick up their pens, let their imaginations run wild, and design the most unique red noses our school has ever seen.

Children arrived dressed in all sorts of wonderfully silly outfits. The corridors were filled with everything from roaring dinosaurs to cheerful clowns, along with superheroes, storybook characters, and a few costumes that could only have come from pure imagination.
The fun outfits weren’t just for show — they helped raise money for Comic Relief. Whether it was an inflatable dinosaur trying to sit at a desk or a clown whose wig kept slipping sideways, every laugh and smile encouraged more donations. It was a simple, joyful way for pupils to do something funny for money while supporting a great cause.
5E even produced a special Comic Relief Video which gave us all a giggle on a where we celebrate and raise money for being funny.
