This week during for our whole school assembly Mrs Gilbody spoke about her volunteering experiences at the Purfleet Heritage and Military centre. She has been volunteering at the centre since September 2024, and she was excited to share with the children the new displays and exhibits they had created over the past year. 

Mrs Gilbody also let the children know that the centre's WWII trench exhibit proudly displays the poppies the children of Warren made, for last year's remembrance day, and they can now be enjoyed by even more people.

She also shared with the children what happened during the recent Gurkha remembrance service they had, with the Thurrock Nepalese Gurka community, at the centre and the upcoming Gurkha festival on the 16^th of August.
