The Royal Ballet & Opera in collaboration with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing; one of the world's leading dance examination boards piloted a new Learning and Participation programme. This innovative partnership aims to make high-quality ballet training more accessible within state primary schools across the country, by supporting schools to provide an accredited model of ballet progression for pupils who show potential and enthusiasm after taking part in Create and Dance.

RBO associate dance teacher and founder of ACS dance school , Diana Clifford taught weekly lessons and the pupils were  inspired to  improve their posture and develop strong motor skills through structured, controlled movement. At the same time, they increased in confidence and had fun expressing themselves through music and dance.
