On Thursday, pupils and staff at Warren Primary marked VE Day with a respectful two-minute silence at 12 noon to remember those who served during World War II.

Classes took part in a range of activities to learn more about the end of the war in Europe. Older pupils explored the history in lessons, while younger children created artwork.

A highlight of the day was the themed lunch, where the dining hall was decorated in red, white and blue, and pupils enjoyed classic wartime-style music.

It was a meaningful day of reflection, learning, and celebration.
