Year 4 Enviro-takeover at Thameside Theatre!
One of two exciting immersive theatre adventures with Kit Pathways this term. Year 4 pupils were recruited to join T.R.E.E, (an organization that aims to sow the seeds of positive climate action by inspiring through creativity). These experiences develop pupils' creativity, confidence and critical thinking while connecting them with their local creative community.
Two weeks of creating banners, writing articles and doing performances and speeches led to the finale as Year 4 travelled to Thameside Theatre, snuck in through the side entrances and hosted an underground Climate Action Festival. This experience explored social responsibility and engaged all pupils to see the extraordinary in the ordinary.
