We are absolutely thrilled by the response and the sheer creativity poured into the stories. Our students truly rose to the challenge, crafting original, brilliant narratives in 500 words or less. We are so incredibly proud of every child who put their imagination on paper.

What Happens Next?

The judges will now be focussing on reviewing submissions from across the UK. Remember, this competition celebrates CREATIVITY and originality above all else—spelling, punctuation, and grammar are not marked!

The Road to the Grand Final

The excitement is only just beginning!

• Finalists will be invited to a glamorous grand final event next February, where the winning bronze, silver, and gold stories in each category will be read out loud by celebrities.

• Winners also receive amazing prizes, including a bundle of books, and the gold winners will win 500 books for their school library! We have our fingers crossed for a Warren Primary winner!
