Children in Need 2025

This Friday, Warren Primary School was bursting with colour, creativity, and smiles as pupils took part in a special dress-up day to support BBC Children in Need. The theme? “Wear What Makes You Happy” — and our children embraced it with joy and imagination!
From superhero capes and sparkly tutus to football kits and animal onesies, the school was transformed into a vibrant celebration of self-expression and positivity. Whether it was a favourite outfit, a costume from a beloved character, or simply something comfy and fun, every child had the chance to share what brings them happiness.
Why We Dressed Up
The event was part of our fundraising efforts for Children in Need, a charity that supports disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. By dressing up in something that makes them feel good, pupils were encouraged to reflect on what happiness means — and how we can help others find it too.
Headteacher Mrs. Evans said:
“This event was about more than dressing up — it was about celebrating individuality, spreading joy, and supporting a cause that helps children across the country. We’re so proud of our pupils for showing such kindness and spirit.”
Thank you to all our families for your support. We raised an amazing £385. Together, we’ve made a difference — and had a lot of fun doing it!
