Celebrating an Inspiring Ballet Journey in Year 3 This term, a group of talented Year 3 pupils had the exclusive opportunity to take part in a creative ballet curriculum delivered through a pioneering partnership between @royalballetandopera and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Together, they piloted a new Learning and Participation programme designed to make highquality ballet training more accessible in state primary schools across the country. The initiative supports schools in offering an accredited pathway for pupils who show promise and passion after taking part in Create and Dance. Under the expert guidance of RBO associate dance teacher and ACS Dance School founder Diana Clifford, pupils took part in weekly lessons that encouraged them to refine posture, build strong motor skills, and explore expressive movement. Most importantly, they grew in confidence discovering the joy of storytelling through music and dance while having plenty of fun along the way.
